有鑑於日前鄉親反應與陳情，指稱花蓮縣景文橋與太魯閣牌樓處道路約300公尺暗黑，夜間行車相當危險，114年6月4日秀林鄉代王沈剛竹重視用路人與鄉親行車安全，提案太魯閣口至景文橋北端安裝道路照明，以維護鄉親與用路人夜間行車安全，杜絕治安死角讓行車更安全，利於夜間景文橋上與橫貫公路牌樓和路面視野更加清晰，同時亦提升道路安全！
