貧しい家庭からの鉄の意志。親戚から米を借りて生活していた子供時代を懐かしく思い出しながら、游淑貞市長は涙ながらに家族支援の寄付を行います。清貧な子供たちが苦しまないで暮らせることを願っています！

花蓮縣吉安鄉民代表會甫開議，鄉長游淑貞就在各項社福措施等交出漂亮成績單，而廉政民意暨施政滿意度調查，更是連年榮獲高達九十八餘分肯定，對此，鄉長游淑貞總是謙虛地感謝鄉親支持外，更將一切成就歸功於父母教養之恩。為了延續此恩情，繼去年以母親離世後的積蓄捐贈十萬元後，今年母親節更是特地帶著家人再次前來中心捐贈五萬元扶幼捐款。

The representative meeting of Ji’an Township, Hualien County has just commenced, with Township Chief You Shuzhen presenting impressive achievements in various social welfare measures. Additionally, the annual integrity, public opinion, and governance satisfaction survey consistently scores over ninety-eight points, a testament to Chief You Shuzhen’s leadership. In response, Chief You Shuzhen humbly credits the support of the villagers and attributes all achievements to the upbringing by her parents. To continue this gratitude, following last year’s donation of one hundred thousand yuan after her mother’s passing, this Mother’s Day, Chief You Shuzhen and her family returned to the center to donate fifty thousand yuan for children’s welfare.

花蓮県の吉安郷代表会議が始まりました。郷長の游淑貞は、様々な社会福祉施策で素晴らしい成果を挙げています。さらに、廉政、世論、施政の満足度調査では、毎年98点以上の高得点を獲得し、游淑貞郷長の指導力が示されています。游淑貞郷長は、村民の支援に感謝し、すべての成果を両親の教育に帰して謙虚に語っています。この感謝の気持ちを継続するため、去年に母親が亡くなった後、10万元を寄付した後、今年の母の日には、游淑貞郷長と家族が再び中心に戻って、幼児支援のために5万元を寄付しました。

當天扶幼委員會主委胡毓恩親自迎接鄉長游淑貞及其二姊、二姊夫，談及家人情感以及父母教養的過程，鄉長眼眶泛紅分享著，家中的清苦讓母親再累都要挺著大肚出去工作，有時候沒米了還要跟親戚借米，但卻不斷地告誡家中五個兄弟姊妹不可以僥倖、要懂得感恩，並且努力地學習向上，因為「清苦的小孩也會長大」兄弟姊妹也爭氣地將父母的身教、言教實踐在生活中。更說道「我自己也是清苦家庭長大的孩子，知道生活不易的樣子，想告訴孩子跟父母不要輕易放棄。」

On that day, the chairperson of the Children and Youth Committee, Hu Yu-en, personally welcomed the village chief You Shu-zhen, her two sisters, and their spouses. During their conversation about family emotions and the upbringing process, tears welled up in the village chief’s eyes as she shared. Despite the hardships at home, her mother, even when heavily pregnant, insisted on working. Sometimes, when there was no rice left, they had to borrow from relatives. Yet, she continuously reminded her five siblings not to take things for granted, to be grateful, and to strive for improvement because ‘children from humble backgrounds also grow up.’ The siblings, in turn, diligently applied their parents’ teachings in their lives. She also mentioned, ‘I myself grew up in a humble family and know how tough life can be. I want to tell children not to give up easily on their parents.

その日、児童委員会の委員長である胡毓恩が、鄉長游淑貞と彼女の二人の姉妹、およびその夫を自ら迎えた。家族の感情や育児プロセスについての会話の中で、鄉長の目に涙が浮かび、彼女が分かち合った。家庭での苦労にもかかわらず、彼女の母親は、妊娠中であっても働くことを強要した。時には米がなくなると親戚から借りなければならなかった。しかし、彼女は絶えず五人の兄弟姉妹に、当たり前と思わずに感謝し、向上心を持つように忠告し続けた。なぜなら「貧しい家庭の子供も成長するからだ」。兄弟姉妹は、その親の教えを生活に実践していった。彼女はまた、「私自身も貧しい家庭で育った子供だから、生活がどれほど厳しいかを知っている。子供たちに親を簡単に諦めないように伝えたい」と述べた。

花蓮家扶與鄉長游淑貞的緣分不僅止於此，從20多年前鄉長擔任幼兒園長時給予寄養童的幫助，再到擔任鄉長期間給予花蓮家扶的大力支持，都是對於鄉長對於清苦人的疼惜。

The connection between Hualien Family Support and Township Chief You Shuzhen extends beyond this moment. Over 20 years ago, when Chief You served as the head of a kindergarten, she provided assistance to foster children. This support continued during her tenure as township chief, demonstrating her care for those in need.

花蓮ファミリーサポートと鄉長游淑貞の縁はこの瞬間に留まらず、20年以上前、鄉長が幼稚園の長を務めていた時に養育児童に援助を提供しました。この支援は鄉長としての任期中も続き、清貧な人々に対する彼女の思いやりを示しています。

代為接受這份母親節前夕的祝福，主委胡毓恩感謝地說「同為曾是幼兒教育人，鄉長的精神讓人深感佩服，一筆五萬元的捐款對於花蓮家扶而言，是最珍貴的祝福與鼓勵，讓我們相信旁人的陪伴與鼓勵，都是家庭改變的契機。」

Accepting the pre-Mother’s Day blessings on behalf, Chairperson Hu Yu-en graciously expressed, “As former early childhood educators, we deeply admire the spirit of the township mayor. The donation of fifty thousand dollars is the most precious blessing and encouragement for Hualien Family Support. It allows us to believe that the companionship and encouragement of others are opportunities for family change.

母の日前夜の祝福を代わりに受け入れることについて、胡毓恩主任委員は感謝の意を示し、「かつての幼児教育者として、私たちは町長の精神を深く尊敬しています。5万ドルの寄付は花蓮家族支援にとって最も貴重な祝福と励ましです。他者の共感と励ましは家族の変化の機会であると信じさせてくれます。」

花蓮家扶中心於地方深耕58年，陪伴超過12,000兒少自立，統計至2024年3月底為止，我們仍持續陪伴著縣內1798戶家庭、3260位兒少挺過人生的低谷，然，家庭的改變仍號召各界之力，誠摯地邀請各界有力人士與孩子、家庭站在一起，翻轉孩子的未來。

Hualien Family Support Center has been deeply rooted in the local community for 58 years, accompanying over 12,000 children and adolescents towards self-reliance. As of the end of March 2024, we continue to support 1,798 households and 3,260 children through their toughest times. However, the changing dynamics within families call for collective efforts. We sincerely invite individuals from all walks of life to stand with children and families, and together, transform the future of these children.
